Does what it's supposed to

I used this on an older dishwasher that already had a lot of rusting and after two coats it seems to be holding up. Wow saved buying a new washing machine:

I recently bought a used front load "super high effeciency" washing-machine and dryer set made by LG. I have an LG dishwasher and have been very impressed with how quiet and well it works.



When I first used the new washing machine it was reasonably quiet except for when spinning. It is up on 14 inch tall pedestals and when the spin cycle started it jumped all around. Also it was shaking my whole house making paintings even in non-adjacent rooms rattle on the wall.



My wife was afraid of it and refused to even do laundry. I assumed I was going to have to sell it again probably at a loss and buy something else. But first I convinced my wife to let me try a few things such as these feet.



I orderred these feet then while waiting I also put two 30 pound cat litter buckets on the washing machine this stopped it jumping around but it still shook the entire house.



Today these feet arrived they are really well designed. The box has two pair of feet a "sliding" pair for the back feet and a "sticky" pair for the front feet. You put the "sliding" pair under the back feet so you can then adjust the position before installing the front "sticky" pair. The result is your machine can't slide once setup. This alone is handy. Best of all they actually successfully damp the vibrations so that my wife didn't even hear the washing machine running spin cycle on the "high" speed when sitting down-stairs directly under it.



Alas they are not complete miracle workers. If I remove the two 30 pound cat litter buckets the washing machine starts bouncing up off the feet still and thus makes lots of noise. BUT with the extra 60lbs of weight and these feet what was once impossibly loud is now nearly silent and my house is once again stable no bouncing paintings or photos.

Cheaper than Sears

The price on this item appears to have gone up by about $20.00 in the last two weeks. These are the same exact filters sold by Sears for use in their high-end Kenmore Elite's (built by LG in 2005). I compared build quality part number and packaging. However when I purchased them they were about half the price compared to sears (I bought a two-pack).



Installation is via a simple twist-lock method. So if you are replacing the filter for the first time simply push and twist to remove and push and twit to install. Do not call Sears to do this. They charge a significant fee. For those who have a whole house water filtration system or an inline (to refrigerator) filtration system (I use a Culligan good water reverse osmosis) the filters should last TWICE as long at the least. I have had many people argue that I do not need a water filter at the refrigerator if I have another system in place. I disagree. I like the idea of a backup in case of equipment failure. Great quality.

Very solid construction and works with all 4 wire appliances. It still amazes me that these power cords are not included with the appliances that most people buy. The high quality of this cord is very apparent and I liked the 4 foot option instead of the 6 foot cord. Handy little basket

Like other reviewers said this turned out to be a bit narrower than I expected. Internal measurements are about 3" deep (top to bottom) X 8" long (end to end) but as you can see from the photo of it the end pieces slope inward at the bottom so the length at the bottom is more like 6". The significant (to me) measurement is front to back - less than 2".



I have a dishwasher that's made by Whirlpool. Neither it nor any other diswasher I've ever had requires this odd shape. I can only assume this basket is made to fit the rack of a specific and unusually shaped Whirlpool model rack.



The front and back walls of the basket warped inward slightly after a couple of wash cycles. Odd since it is intended to be in a hot dishwasher specifically but its ability to lock shut or hold small items isn't affected so I guess you'd call it just a cosmetic problem.



I sill like the basket but I do wish it were about 1" wider and 1" taller.More detail ...

Porcelain drip bowls for Whirlpool electric stoves

Having bought the Whirlpool stove 2.5 years ago I finally decided to replace the drip bowls which had long since deteriorated to a uncleanable level. I purchased the 6 and 8 inch bowls (look beautiful before use)and replaced the old marred and stained bowls. No sooner than I had cooked a simple vegetable (no spills) the new porcelain bowl became stained and chipped. Apparently the porcelain can not withstand the heat of an electric stove. Used this in a Kenmore fridge. worked fine

First time changing filter. Not sure if all do this but when i changed we had extremely high pressure. Im guessing it was acting like there wasnt a filter in at all. Caused water to keep flowing a bit (without pressing).



After that strangeness took about 6 pitchers to get airbubbles out of filter etc.





Kenmore and Whirlpool are the samer thing more or less. Works fine now its been in use.

Makes life so much easier!

I have a light-colored smooth top range and have tried a number of other products and it was hard work keeping the range clean. Once clean apply a VERY thin coat of the protectant and it's almost like wax for the car. Stuff still burns-on but comes off so much easier you'll be surprised. It lasts a long time and is well worth the money. Whirlpool also has a complete kit--Cleaner non-scratch scrub pads protectant and special applicator pad.
